Delivery Policy

Deliveries take place during business hours on weekdays. Weekends and public holidays are excluded from all time calculations.

Delivery of hardware and other goods are subject to payment details being verified on the account and payment must clear in order for goods to be submitted for dispatch.

Fibre routers will only be dispatched once the relevant fibre provider confirms that the service order has been accepted and installation is scheduled.

Online orders paid via credit card clear immediately and debit orders can take up to 5 working days to clear. Once payment has cleared the warehouse will pack and send off the goods.

Non-RICA deliveries are a door-to-door delivery service. The courier will endeavour to hand the consignment over to the intended recipient but will make the delivery to the specified address should the recipient not be available in person. Updates and contact from the courier will be made by SMS.

If you are expecting a SIM card with your delivery, then RICA of the SIM card is required on delivery or collection.

RICA is a law passed by the South African government that requires ALL mobile phone users to register their numbers/ sim cards. WEEM Solutions (U Data)is lawfully required to RICA every U Data SIM Card with the required RICA documents before you can take delivery. Whether delivering or collecting you will need to present your RICA documents. Failure to meet the requirements for RICA will result in a failed delivery.

Delivery will occur within 7 to 10 working days from payment clearance. This time can be drastically reduced if all requirements in terms of payment are met timeously.

Delivery timeframes may exceed these guidelines if the address is considered a remote or outlying area.

For RICA deliveries, our couriers will make contact telephonically in order to schedule an appointment for the delivery. Failure to be available for scheduling will result in delays.

Delivery times stated do not include additional delays for payment clearance.

RICA deliveries are a person-to-person delivery service. Delivery will only be made to the intended recipient.

• Standard delivery fee is R60.
• A RICA delivery fee of R249 will apply to SIM card orders where the cart value or 12-month value of the transaction is less than R1000.
• A delivery fee of R249 on all Fibre router deliveries will be charged unless a promotional discount applies.
• Express 3-hour deliveries are at a fee of R299. Orders must be placed before 11 am.

Visa/Mastercard payments are verified immediately, while a delay of up to 5 working days can be expected with Debit Orders for verification and clearing of funds (depending on the bank payment is made from).
